Overnight Oats Recipes for a Healthy Start in the morning

Recipe

PEACH Overnight Oats

  • Serves 1

Ingredients

  • Porridge Oats 50 g
  • Skimmed Milk 80 ml
  • Greek Yoghurt 0% fat 80 g
  • Peach juice 2 Tbsp
  • Tinned Peaches in natural juice, drained and chopped 50 g
  • Raspberries 40 g
  • Blueberries 20 g
  • Granulated Sweetener 1 tsp
  • Ground cinnamon 1/4 Tsp
  • Honey 1 Tbsp
  • Flaked Almonds 1 Tbsp

Method

  1. Add in a bowl the porridge oats, sweetener, cinnamon, peach juice, milk and yoghurt.
  2. Stir well all the ingredients.
  3. Cover the bowl with a lid and place in the fridge overnight.
  4. Take the porridge oats mixture out of the fridge in the next morning and add the chopped peaches, raspberries and blueberries.
  5. Scatter over the flakes almonds and trickle the honey before to serve.

CHIA Seeds Overnight Oats

  • Serves 1

Ingredients

  • Porridge Oats 50 g
  • Almond Milk 80 ml
  • Water 50 g
  • Ripe bananas mashed 1
  • Chia seeds 3 Tbsp
  • Apricot diced 1
  • Blackberries 40 g
  • Blueberries 20 g
  • Granulated Sweetener 1 Tsp
  • Ground cinnamon ¼ Tsp
  • Honey 1 Tbsp

Method

  1. Add in a bowl the porridge oats, almond milk, water, bananas mashed, chia seeds, sweetener and cinnamon.
  2. Stir well all the ingredients.
  3. Cover the bowl with a lid and place in the fridge overnight.
  4. Take the porridge oats mixture out of the fridge in the next morning.
  5. Place oat mixture in a saucepan over low heat and gently cook for about 5 minutes.
  6. Top with apricots diced, blackberries and blueberries.
  7. Trickle the honey before to serve.

APPLE Overnight Oats

  • Serves 1

Ingredients

  • Porridge Oats 50 g
  • Skimmed Milk 80 ml
  • Greek Yoghurt 0% fat 80 g
  • Apple juice 2 Tbsp
  • Water 2 Tbsp
  • Apple peeled, cored and chopped 1
  • Granulated Sweetener 1 Tsp
  • Ground cinnamon ¼ Tsp
  • Vanilla paste ¼ Tsp
  • Honey 1 Tbsp

Method

  1. Add in a bowl the porridge oats, sweetener, cinnamon, apple juice, milk and yoghurt.
  2. Stir well all the ingredients.
  3. Cover the bowl with a lid and place in the fridge overnight.
  4. Take the porridge oats mixture out of the fridge in the next morning.
  5. Place a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and add the apple, honey, vanilla paste and water. Cook for 5-6 minutes and remove from the heat.
  6. Stir the porridge oats and top with the apple mixture.
